40t Omnidirectional mover cart for the Industry of Power Transformers

Lei Na Heavy Industry designed an omnidirectional mover cart is an advanced material handling equipment characterized by its ability to move in any direction on a horizontal plane (including forward/backward, lateral, diagonal movement, and in-place rotation) without changing the orientation of the cart body. It overcomes the turning radius limitations of traditional wheeled vehicles, offering unparalleled maneuverability and flexibility in narrow and crowded spaces.

Typically composed of a chassis, omnidirectional wheel systems, drive motors, a control system (and sometimes navigation sensors), designed and manufactured specifically for industrial transformers, it provides various models of heavy-duty lifting carts and heavy duty platform cart for transporting large power transformers (LPTs), completing the loading and unloading of power transformers, saving both time and effort. Significantly reduced the installation space and costs for gantry/bridge cranes.

THE CHALLENGE

The internal logistics of the factory have been greatly improved, thereby achieving economic savings.

No need for turning aisles;  it can move laterally or rotate directly in confined spaces, significantly improving the efficiency of workspace utilization.

The turning radius is compact, and the traction wheel can rotate up to 90 degrees.
